A Hybrid APM-CPGSO Approach for Constraint Satisfaction Problem Solving: Application to Remote Sensing

نویسندگان

چکیده

Constraint satisfaction problem (CSP) has been actively used for modeling and solving a wide range of complex real-world problems. However, it proven that developing efficient methods CSP, especially large problems, is very difficult challenging. Existing complete problem-solving are in most cases unsuitable. Therefore, proposing hybrid CSP-based increasing interest the last decades. This paper aims at novel approach combines incomplete CSP problem-solving. The proposed takes advantage group search algorithm (GSO) constraint propagation (CP) to solve problems related remote sensing field. To best our knowledge, this represents first study proposes hybridization between an improved version GSO CP resolution constraint-based Experiments have conducted object recognition satellite images. Results show good performances terms convergence running time method compared existing state-of-the-art methods.

A New Method for Solving Constraint Satisfaction Problems

Many important problems in Artificial Intelligence can be defined as Constraint Satisfaction Problems (CSP). These types of problems are defined by a limited set of variables, each having a limited domain and a number of Constraints on the values of those variables (these problems are also called Consistent Labeling Problems (CLP), in which “Labeling" means assigning a value to a variable.) Sol...

Hybrid Algorithms for the Constraint Satisfaction Problem

It might be said that there are five basic tree search algorithms for the constraint satisfaction problem (csp), namely, naive backtracking (BT), backjumping (BJ), conflict-directed backjumping (CBJ), backmarking (BM), and forward checking (FC). In broad terms, BT, BJ, and CBJ describe different styles of backward move (backtracking), whereas BT, BM, and FC describe different styles of forward ...

A Hybrid Search Algorithm for Solving Constraint Satisfaction Problems

In this paper we present a hybrid search algorithm for solving constraint satisfaction and optimization problems. This algorithm combines ideas of two basic approaches: complete and incomplete algorithms which also known as systematic search and local search algorithms. Different characteristics of systematic search and local search methods are complementary. Therefore we have tried to get the ...

A Hybrid Solving Scheme for Distributed Constraint Satisfaction Problems

Algorithms for Distributed Constraint Satisfaction Problems fall into two categories: distributed complete search (DisCS) and distributed local search (DisLS). The advantage of DisCS is that it guarantees to find a solution or proves problem infeasibility. DisCS is good at solving tight problems with complex constraints, but suffers from false commitments early in the search tree, leading to ex...
